I graduated in Piano and Music pedagogy from Richard Wagner Conservatory in vienna. I have been a Piano instructor for over 15 years and have a wealth of experience teaching all levels and all ages. I have a particular focus on technique and theory.
In my private lessons every student is different and I tailor the lessons to suit their individual needs. Each student is provided with a unique, fun and personalised lesson plan with a dynamic style of teaching.
I was born into a musical family in Persia and started to play the piano when I was 9. I was fortunate enough to be educated by some the best instructors in Tehran until my further education where I studied piano at music conservatory in Tehran. I also have a love of reading and the arts which led me to earn a degree in English Literature.
About the Lessons
I offer enjoyable lessons where you can learn how to play the piano and how to read music.
A beginner student will learn the "basic knowledge package" at the beginning, this includes:
- How to read notes correctly and play them with the correct technique.
- Understand and implement rhythms correctly
- The simple basics of music theory
- Playing simple pieces by reading the notes after 4 lessons.

Trial Lesson The first lesson is only 20€ for 30 mins with no obligation! After completing your trial lesson, if you decide to continue and enroll in my piano classes, the fee for the trial lesson (20€) will be deducted from the total fee for your piano lessons. |

Do you offer a trial lesson?
Yes! I offer the first lesson as a trial it lasts about 30mins and just costs 15 Eur.
How often are lessons?
The lessons held on a weekly basis and scheduled at a regular agreed time. Consistent time and structure are necessary for optimal learning!
How often should I practice?
Practicing 3-5 times a week for 15-30 mins will ensure that you progress quickly. However any practice is better than no practice so try and do as much as you can. For children they only need to do 5-10 minutes a time.
Which piano method, book or sheet music should I buy?
For the first lesson you will just need a notebook, then I will recommend an appropriate piano method book for each student individually. To save you time, I can offer to buy the necessary materials at a music store and then provide them to you for the same price.
On which days do you give lessons?
Lessons are given on each day of the week except Sunday. Please contact me for availability.
Normally there are no lessons on public holidays or Viennese school holidays however I’m happy to make exceptions so there are no gaps in your learning.
Do you provide lessons at my home?
I can provide lessons in the comfort of your own home, however there will be additional fees depending on where you live. Please contact me for more details.
How long does a piano lesson last?
For teenagers and adults, I generally recommend 45 minutes or 2 x 30 minute lessons per week.
For younger children, one 30 minute lesson per week is enough however twice a week is recommended. When children advance quickly it is advisable to have 45 minute lessons.
At what age my child can start with piano lessons?
A good age to start taking piano lessons is 6 years for most children.
If I have to cancel my lesson, can I get a make up lesson?
If you need to cancel a lesson you will need to give 48 hours notice. I will give you two dates for which you can choose one as the make up lesson, if you cannot attend either of these dates unfortunately there is no refund.
If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson do I get a make up lesson?
